Short version: Dicular runs on your computer, your documents stay with you, and we don’t track you.

What stays on your device
Dicular is a local-first desktop application. The .layout and .skp files you open, your edits, and your settings live on your computer. We do not upload, store, or have access to your documents.
What we don’t do
- No accounts, sign-up, or email collection to use the app.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising, or telemetry SDKs.
- We don’t sell or share personal data.
Update checks
To offer automatic updates, the app periodically requests a small manifest from download.dicular.com (hosted on Cloudflare R2). As with any web request, standard technical data — your IP address, timestamp, and app/OS version — can appear in our hosting provider’s logs. We use this only to deliver updates and keep the service running, not to profile you.
The optional AI assistant
Dicular includes an optional AI assistant that is off until you turn it on and add your own API key. When you use it, the prompts you write and the document context you choose to include are sent to your AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a response. That data is handled under the provider’s own privacy terms. Your API key is stored locally in your operating system’s secure keychain — we never receive it.
The website
dicular.com is served by Cloudflare. Standard server request logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) may be retained briefly to operate and secure the site. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
Children
Dicular is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
As Dicular grows beyond beta, this policy may be updated. The “last updated” date above will change when it does.
